ATL International is actively recruiting multiple Radiological Control Technicians (RCTs) to help support Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in Los Alamos, NM. This is a contract position that offers Per Diem per the GSA rates to those eligible.
RCTs will provide radiological support at assigned Laboratory sites in the areas of workplace surveillance and analysis/interpretation of radiological data. Provide fully proficient operational health physics support in assigned facility, function or area. Also be responsible for high-hazard radiological jobs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Work involves moderate physical demands, such as lifting and carrying radiation protection instruments and wearing personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Work may be outdoors and may be scheduled at time other than regular work hours.

This position may be subject to DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, and Qualification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities. This DOE Order establishes entry-level requirements to ensure employees in the positions can successfully perform the requirements of the job.

Education
Position typically requires a high school diploma and two-to-four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, additional training, certification, and/or education may be desirable.
